Dr Lindsey Thomas

Dr Lindsey Thomas is an experienced GP with a specialist interest in the menopause and women’s health. She holds the FSRH Advanced certificate in menopause care and is on the register of British Menopause Society Specialists.

Alongside her work at Myla Health, she is clinical lead for the NHS community menopause and menstrual clinic in Sheffield as well as working in sexual health at Rotherham Hospital Foundation Trust.

She is passionate about improving women’s health and sees education as an important part of this. She is an FSRH Menopause Trainer and the vice chair of the Primary Care Women’s Health Society. She also holds the post of Honorary Lecturer at The University of Manchester.

Dr. Thomas is keen to improve the overall experience of this stage of life, in terms of symptoms and long term health benefits. She believes good quality care should be evidence based and holistic, supporting women to make informed choices about HRT alongside an understanding of the importance of lifestyle and nutrition choices. 

She sees patients with symptoms of the perimenopause and menopause. She also manages conditions such as PMS, PMDD, PCOS and can help with contraception choices.

Dr Thomas’ clinic is in Sheffield. She also see patients online. Due to NHS regulations Dr Thomas is not able to see any patients registered with Porterbrook Medical Cenre, Sheffield.
