Dr Zoe Schaedel

Dr Zoe Schaedel is an experienced NHS GP and recognised specialist in menopause care, sleep problems, sexual health and contraception. She is a registered British Menopause Society Menopause Specialist and a member of its Medical Advisory Committee.

She is passionate about education and the development of future menopause specialists. As a BMS trainer, she supports clinicians in advancing their expertise in women’s health and contributes to national clinical discussions in this field.

Sleep medicine is a key area of focus in Dr Schaedel’s work. She delivers nationally recognised presentations and masterclasses across healthcare and corporate settings, with a particular emphasis on evidence-based approaches to persistent insomnia. Her work explores the complex interplay between menopause, mental health and sleep. She is co-founder of The Good Sleep Clinic, which works closely with Myla Health to deliver bespoke, clinically led treatment programmes.

Dr Schaedel’s research has been published in leading journals including The Lancet and Post Reproductive Health. She has appeared in the Women’s Health: Breaking The Taboos documentary and has been featured across national media including BBC Radio 4, The Independent and Grazia.

Dr Schaedel’s professional memberships include the British Menopause Society, Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health and The British Sleep Society.

Dr Schaedel offers appointments in Kent, Sussex and online.
